On May 17, 2026, the southern Norwegian coastal city of Kristiansand came alive to celebrate Syttende Mai (Constitution Day). Thousands of locals gathered to line the streets in vibrant traditional bunad attires, wave Norwegian flags, and enjoy marching band parades, creating an energetic and deeply festive atmosphere throughout the city. This unforgettable celebration was first and foremost documented on 35mm Kodak colour film using a classic Nikon F80 SLR camera. The rich colour rendition, warm organic tones, and soft film grain of Kodak stock, paired with the precise optics of the Nikon F80, bring out the timeless character and nostalgic warmth of Norway’s national day.
