Over Easter, we wandered the sun‑washed stone streets of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” where spring warmth and sea breezes carried the sound of church bells across the Old Town’s terracotta rooftops. From the bustle around Luža Square to the sweeping views toward Lokrum Island, the city felt alive with both history and holiday energy. We lingered at Banje Beach, admired intricate Marinski ornaments, and indulged in almond‑scented marzipan from a tiny pekara — a gentle reminder that in Dubrovnik, Easter tastes as good as it looks. Sailboats rocked lazily in the harbour while the city’s ancient walls seemed to glow in the golden light of late afternoon, framing a celebration as timeless as the stones beneath our feet.
