2024-11-19 UNIBA Comenius talks, film premiere

On November 19, 2024, the Auditorium of Comenius University in Bratislava hosted a special profesorská prednáška featuring Prof. Ján Klimas, PhD., MPH. The lecture, titled "Veda v lekárni" (Science in the Pharmacy), explored the scientific advancements and innovations in the field of pharmacy. Following the lecture, the audience had the opportunity to watch the premiere of the film "Docentka z lekárne" (Associate Professor from the Pharmacy), , directed by Adriana Totiková.. This film, an initiative of the Slovak Chamber of Pharmacists in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, highlighted the contributions of Jarmila Zemanová Šimaljaková, a pioneering female pharmacist in Slovakia. Emília Vášaryová, who voiced the documentary film, was awarded a new prize given out by the students of the pharmaceutical faculty, recognizing her outstanding contribution to the project.
